The brake option is already on (yellow). What about the ďparkĒ wire, does it have to be grounded?

Now the obc came on, but all three (engine) temps are the same, and the volt doesnít read anything.

Also, the buttons and knobs are not illuminated

It's probably just for show, I don't know how the dynavin is gonna figure out the volt and oil temp etc if there are no sensors.

the brake option is to display or not an warning message while you are driving.
the park wire should be grounded to be able to view dvd or tv while moving.

the same for me. i installed an E46 D99 dynavin with android and in OBC all three temps are the same and volt is --.
Maybe is a mistake in dynavin unit SW in reading and interpretation of IBUS values.
maybe they will solve it with a future firmware update i hope, unless they will produce another version of the unit and will forget about this ones.

in my case the buttons are all illuminated correctly.

i think i cannot control the sound volume on android part. igo voice seems to be still at maximum even if radio volume is down and ringer volumes from main upper bar seems to have no effect.

Is there any guides how to disassemble the dynavin d95/d99 units? Any help will be appreciated.

There is an oil temp sensor and water temp sensor, also the volt reading is present on board. So it should be possible to get these readings correct on the obc.

Is there a setting for the illuminating of the buttons/knobs?

Hopefully they will fix it soon, I don't just want a fake reading

They must have had an idea of displaying correct values when they put in the tex on the obc screen. Are all d99ís displaying the same value in the temp lines?

Any ideas for a fix reg. illuminating of the knobs/buttons?

You have to tap the correct wire for illumination to work. The settings for brake will enable or disable video. Do your steering wheel controls work? If not your obc issues r related to the ibus wire not being connected properly.

Iím not sure Iím ready to start taping into the wires on my brand new d99. Is the illimi issue known or is this the first. My steering wheel control seems to work fine. I noticed that there was a red light on the steering wheel box.

for the new units they swapped the blue and the white wires from the IBUS little black box. for some old units the correction is not done yet and the end user should do that to have the steering wheel control / pdc / obc work... otherwise will not.

Jeff posted earlier that he changed the wires on the units he sell. Also, it seems like the steering wheel control works on mine.

you shouldn't have to tap into anything from the d99. if it's anything like the d95 for the e39 it should have a bare orange wire that can be tapped to the stock oem illumination wire.

I received my unit from china and the volume control is defected, the plastic bit is somewhat lodged and causes friction when turning the volume control, totally uncomfortable. Need to open the unit to get it fixed I presume..

if it's in warranty still (if you just received it, then of course it is) then you need to send it back and get a replacement.

Does anyone have a manual for the Sygic nav software? It didn't come with any and despite searching the web and the sygic website I can't find one. Or, more particularly, does anyone know how to get back to the initial Nav setup screen? When I selct Nav it goes straight to the map. I've tried resetting, but I can't get back to the initial setup screen.

Don't know what you searched for but simply typing Sygic User manual in Google brings up the results and downloads........
http://www.google.com.au/#hl=en&cp=1...=1858&bih=1036

And from the above search on the first page the direct download link in PDF........http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rc...-yz6LFVlxr3TBA

This took about 10 seconds to find.

Probably being too specific, I was searching for "sygic dynavin manual." This is helpful, thanks very much.

Sygic and Dynavin have nothing to do with each other, Sygic licenses it's software out to many different companies, Dynavin just being one of them.
