I wonder... can you just drink ten Fortify Smithing potions back to back for a compounded effect?

no potions dont add together strength. The stack enchanting video was good advice, will have to try that...

yea potions don't but try the video's suggestion, its basically stacking enchanted armor with fortify alchemy used to make potions to fortify enchanting, which you then use to make stronger enchanted clothing. btw the only articles of clothing you can use to fortify alchemy are head, rings, necklace and boots, i think that is pretty dumb but w/e it is what it is.

Yep... I think I'm going to make some beastly, ungodly armor. I'm tired of getting hit twice before dropping to 25% health. I'm using Elven Armors and Thief's Armors right now. dis iz stoopid

I do everything i can to avoid the main quest in TES.

There's just so much you can do, I know I won't want to do any of it once I 'beat' the game.

I have like 65 hours invested and have just recently gathered all the Jarl's up at High Hrothgar.

Just bought this on Friday. It does not disappoint. No shock, since the same team that made Fallout 3 made this one. Loving it so far. I've never been happier to have no life.

Such a pretty game, even on the lowest graphics settings. Makes me wish I had a nicer computer.

If you are doing the enchanting, alchemy, and armor stacking, my tips in addition to that video are:
-make use of the guardian stones that make you learn 20% quicker, warrior stone for smithing, thief stone for alchemy, mage stone for enchanting.
-iron daggers are awesome for raising smithing skills really fast
-save all the iron daggers you make from smithing to be used for enchanting
-enchanting rings is good because you can sell them to court wizards and the such in exchange for more soul gems.

I just need to get another 8 levels in enchanting, and then do the alchemy and they I'm gonna try stacking all these armor perks.

I'm level 14 and I haven't learned any enchantments yet!! I feel like I might be skipping a major quest or something.

mkodama: in the past year or 2, PCs have kind of flatlined. You no longer need a video card less than 6 months old to play these games. Thankfully, the developers haven't outgrown the hardware as fast as they have in previous years.

For example, my system isn't high-end by today's standards (i7 920 / 6GB RAM with a Radeon 6870 for video). That video card retails for $160CDN as of today. Skyrim detects the graphics and auto-sets everything to "high" and I manually set them at "ultra". Playing at 1680x1050, with no apparent slowdowns. Looks amazing! Maybe all you need is a new video card (assuming you have a PCI-E system).

I'm level 31, I think, and still have trouble killing dragons. They just take so long!

Full Dragonscale armor (upgraded to Legendary), Skyforge Steel Sword (upgraded to Legendary), Glass Bow, Steel or Ancient Nord Arrows.

I have other enchanted armor and what not I use when the need calls. For basic battle, it's Dragonscale FTW.

Sent from the Bamavarian Nexus.

level 50 Nord. I need to get back into this and finish it, at the very least to see how the story ends. But then again, I haven't finished Fallout, New Vegas or Assassins Creed Brotherhood yet, either.

I'm playing Skyrim on my 13" mid-2010 Macbook Pro.

I really want to get a PC desktop for home use. I already have the screen, keyboard, and mouse hooked up to my laptop. I just don't have a spare $600-$700 right now.
