Of course I want to see you make more WHP, but I'm going to guess that the the ZEX (if that's what you're still running) 55hp translates to about 40-45 WHP. Besides, I don't remember what your last baseline WHP number was. Rob

Damn, that is a good guess. My guess is 266. I'm running much more than the 55, on the street.

Just got back from Seattle, installed the new maf. Car idles like a dream. Get on it on the hwy (still breaking in the clutch) once I hit 5k rpm the car starts to misfire, I let out. Give it a minute smash it again. Does the same thing breaks up at 5k. Get home pull the codes P0500 wheel speed sensor. I'm going to reflash the car once I get home from work tomorrow. Could I just need to reflash it? Why is the pos breaking up at 5k? Spedo is still not working and gas gauge is still floating around?
EDIT: I wanted to add it has no misfire codes no knock codes nothing. Just P0500 and emissions crap that has been there for years. I'll back probe the wheel speed sensors, check all the voltages/resistances and get back to everyone tomorrow. In the mean time please chime in! Last edited by xixixi; 04-16-2012 at 09:12 PM. |

Not certain if you've been told this before, but it's likely a rear wheel speed sensor issue. I can't remember which one it is, but the DME looks to one of them for OBD purposes. I had this feature programmed out of my race car....I removed the entire ABS system including the rear wheel speed sensors.

Re flashed the car today. Still won't rev past 5500? I'm gonna go get some used wheel speed sensors tomorrow and see if it fixes the issues.
