But why do you want to hook up a BT dongle to the unit? BT is already installed and ok for the phone
Bluetooth only works on the windows side, not the android side. So, yes, Bluetooth works straight out of the box on the windows side, but it doesn't work on the android side. I'm trying to figure out a way to get either Bluetooth or wifi working on the android side.

Couple of questions:

My volume in radio goes up and down as I drive. For example , I set to volume 1 and while driving and speeding it will sound louder but not changing the level 1 , if I slow down it will sound lower but still volume 1. Also notice that when there is heavy bass, it will go louder too . I can post video of this.

Second, anyway that when you in reverse your music keeps playing???
Thanks

To help others, I figure out a solution for the problem that when you turn your car it randomly picks a mode.

This is because all your inputs from the back of your unit are touching causing an interference. And you have to imagine all the wires back there being smashed together, the chance of it touching the chassis is quite high.
So put electrical tape in all the Rca's and you will not have this problem .

Ok. But why do you need a extra BT dongle?

Or am i wrong with my guess to pair my phone with the unit and make the calls with my phone over the units internal mic???

Man.... I hope that once dialed in/configuring settings the sound volume issues are no longer issues.

I pretty much ripped out my old Kenwood system over the wkend and will start putting it back together this week.

That could be a feature. I have HU's in other vehicles that have an option to set the degree of increase as the cabin noise increases. Perhaps there is a setting in the unit's A/V menus.

If is a feature I will like to know how to turn it off, I have reset my unit over 8 times and the volume issue drives me crazy specially when you driving long distances

For your volume problem go into the Nav side and hit settings, there is a box called "Dynamic Volume" uncheck the box turning this feature off and that *should* stop the varying volume with speed.
Cheers

I posted a solution to the volume problem earlier in this thread. It is because you have the hk system. What you need is to install a line output converter. You then can adjust volume. I installed mine in the trunk at the factory amp. very easy to do, now my volume is working properly. I was having the same problem. you need an adjustable loc. Mine was about 50 dollars online.

My antenna is defective. I was able to borrow a similar antenna and it works.
