meaning it's just for looks and to impress other people. The problem is, and you don't like hearing this but doing 200 is a waste of time. You'd probably get the same results doing 50 as you would 200. Use your time doing other things. I don't mean to sound like a dick I just hate seeing people waste their time.

You are not being a dick. I would not have posted this if I didn't want advice. Calling me "bro" is kind of a d1ck move lol.

Weird day yesterday. Wife was gone so was was super busy with the kids and my daughters bball game. By dinner time I only had eaten a banana and an orange. The wife and I went out for a nice dinner. Had crab cake lettuce wedge with blue cheese roasted potatoes asparagus and a steak. I usually kill all of it no way this time. Well over half my steak left. Way under my points for the day. Ran 3 miles this morning. Weighed 212.

A banana, orange, and steak for the entire day is a horrible meal. You need to eat more, otherwise you'll actually start gaining weight.

I don't plan on eating like that everyday.

Update---Since beginning to track my miles on 1/15 I have ran 75 miles. Still on Weight watchers with no problems. Always under my points even after a Super Bowl party. Weight is now 209.5. 3 times a week I add 200 pushups (feet crossed 100 hands spread, 100 hands together) and 200 curls per arm. Feeling good. Wearing a suit today that I had "outgrown" and it fits nice now. My original goal with WW was 208. Should be there next week. Then moving my goal down to 200.

Dude please just stop doing that many curls. You are literally wasting time for absolutely NO extra gain for doing that many.

I really do. Basically, look at it like this analogy.

Say you walk to the corner store and it's about 1/4 mile away. You arrive at the front door but you choose to walk around the building 15 times just because.

You're reasoning for doing this many curls is the same thing. You arrive at your destination (say 3 sets of 12) but you choose to walk around the building for the hell of it (the other 164 reps).

It's just not necessary. Jump into the conditioning challenge thread and do those. They literally take between 2-6 minutes depending on how conditioned you are and work the sh1t out of you.

So either stop doing that many curls or lie to us because I can't deal with seeing "200 curls" anymore lol.

You can do those curls, but you're turning it into a cardiovascular workout.

As a busy lawyer with a fixed amount of time, you can only do so much with your attention, strength and energy. We feel that you are wasting precious minutes, nay hours of your lifting attention on curls that don't produce a tangible benefit.

If you want to lose weight, do a full body exercise that maximizes your time. If you want strength, do a heavier weight with fewer reps.

Ultimately, I think (bc I don't know you) you are just kinda slacking, doing that many curls is mindless and easy (physically), its not challenging you, but you like to do it anyway.

I really like you as a person, but try to listen to us on this one!

Easy is my goal in the sense of convenience. I am not going to a gym. I dont have the time or energy. The curls dont even get difficult until I hit about #65-70. There are mindless but they are a challenge physically. I will drop the curls and try the 50 burpees with my pushups, and less curls. I will see how that works.

I appreciate you guys taking the time to give advice.

I did not. I did the first 30 pretty smooth. The next 20 were a struggle.

Yeah the break down pretty quick. It's funny how at the end you'll be siting there gasping and just thinking "all I have to do is lay down and get back up" seems like it should be so easy......
