Should be possible. Both AA and OE told me that they could tune the eu2 dme.

If I get ebay headers and get a tuning chip that get's rid of the CES light or whatever it is, I'll still fail a smog test right? I'd have to swap in the old headers for every smog?

It's not worth it to swap ebay headers out, even every 2 years, to pass a smog. They are a bit of a PITA to install. My $0.02

+1

I'm considering driving to Atlanta to get an AA dealer to tune me up a bit. I just wish I could do better than $400, you know? Say... that gives me an idea...

The SES light is annoying and it makes sense to get a tune suited for my existing mods.

Yea but aa won't help you pass smog If your state checks for the monitors or whatever. Guess it just depends on what your local laws are.

Alabama is emissions check free, so with that said, AA seems to be the way to go.

I think it's retarded for the government to make me pay for an inspection they require and penalize me if I don't.

Didn't Obama try this with health insurance? "I'm going to make you get it. If you don't, you'll pay a fine." And that shit got shot down.

Then again, I'm selfish and don't really care about the future generations.

If the shark doesnt turn off the rear O2's then there's no point considering it as an option, in my opinion.

The point of the shark would be that you'd actually make power, then you could turn off the rear o2's using the lc-1. This method would also mean that you could pass emission testing if you installed cats. Just do some reading, I was seriously considering AA until seeing dyno's that showd a loss compared to shark.

The AA tune would look fishy to the inspector as monitors would show as not ready.

My Euro 2 tune looks fishy as well due to the complete absence of the sensors.
