Ski Pass Sub

I heard that if we remove the ski pass on our car, we will get a better bass. I tried punching those sucker out but it won't budge, so pick up a hammer and start hammering it until it fell out there's a foam behind the ski pass, am I suppose to take them out too?

Thanks.

I did, figured the foam would cause some sound cancelling.

^ I thought about doing the same thing. But I don't want all the wires and an amp back there.

Well, this is definately an issue. I kinda like the hi-tech look of it though, i wonder if the wires could be somehow hidden in the foamy insulation? Or bolted to the top ?

It looks really good, but I fold my seats down way too often to do that.

I just punched out the ski pass, and mounted a 10 in a homemade removable enclosure on top of the battery. I was able to match the carpet. Looks & sounds great, takes almost no room, and I can still haul stuff in the trunk with the seats down when necessary.
