Believe it or not, no. It definitely *is* louder, but honestly not a lot. Dinan was more of a plain "tone" sound, where the Megan Racing kinda let's more of the engine sound thru. If that makes any sense.

Ok dude. Be honest, how raspy is it? I really do plan on this exact set up, but most likely I'm going to run 2 ar20s.
When you get a chance please post a video of you taking off. Thanks a lot and sorry to keep bugging you.

Sorry it took so long to respond. Well seriously, its got a little rasp to it, but not like a lot of other M's I've heard. I'll work on getting a take-off video, it'll be a minute probably, I don't usually think to make a video when I jump in the car.

Small update to keep the thread going. I was on the track about 2 months ago or so, forgot to put a vid up. I've got some MUCH longer GoPro footage, but its way too large for me to publish from my crappy Verizon internet. Here's a quick clip.

Still stock headers, I know section 2 is stock, and it looks like section 1 was just modified with an aftermarket resonator in place of the OEM one. I can't wait for headers to sweeten the sound some...this just sounds too "plain" to me.

Sounds just like a gruppe M or top speed rep. Also I was the first view! Woohoo!

My Ride: Max PSI Stage 2
Checkout my exhaust build thread if you want to see what the Megan Racing or Status M exhaust sounds like. I have the Agency Power V1 exhaust, which as another forum member already stated, is the same exhaust made in the same factory as the others, it's just branded differently. Also, I have videos of my Gruppe M exhaust for comparison. I think I have my RE EL Diablo setup somewhere too, I just have to find the video.

Thread revival. Where are you guys buying your Megan Racing Exhausts?
I see that Parts Hawk has then for a good price - anyone know if they are reputable?

Thanks!
