Where does one get an updated version of the maps themselves? I can't even find them on the BMW website.

Navigation update

Attempted to update my system tonight from 4-1/12 to v. First attempt failed and placed unit in what appeared to be an EPROM loop. After a bit of panic, I pulled out a v24 disc and successfully loaded to recover -whew!

Off to look for another v32 ISO

I have an MKIV system but is not reading the disc I dropped in(includes BMW Navigation OS - v32 (Night Mode, Camera Alerts, M Logo)) . Does the unit require a special disk?

hello there guys,

yesterday i burned the v32 version into a cd and went to the car to update the navi. the version i had was v.22 with the split screen and navi and telephone tabs. so i said what the heck lets update it to see if its worth it.

i did the steps mentioned and i got the update. but the problem comes now with the details i am going to tell you.

the telephone tab does not work(and i have a working telephone set in my car) and the navigation tab just disappeared from the screen and i haven't got any navi at all. i have tried from unplugging 7 and 41 fuses to unplugging the negative from the battery so as to do a reset with no hope.

i tried from v.21 to v.25 to v.32 modified so as to install a different version and the navi seems like to be locked and doing nothing

please help me beacuse i am in a real situation now..
