Roof top lounge or place in city that is good?

Hi Guys - So for this weekend I'm looking for a good spot for a 21st birthday that I'm trying to put together. So far my top choice is the gansevoort park roof thing, but it's about $100 a head that goes toward drinks, etc, food or whatever.

Can anyone recommend? Trying to get nice :-)

Not looking for like a bar bar type of place but a little more upscale but not a club...

gansevoort is usually pretty good. Just make sure your guy/girl ratio favors the girls.

Thanks not idealy outside but something that has a view. Most rooftop places are year round that have inside spots for the winter.. Thanks tho.

Check out Kimberly Hotel rooftop lounge, very intimate.
How about the revolving lounge at the Marriott Marquis? Not the hippest spot, but prime location!
