My Ride: '02 M3 Vert
thanks everyone! its good to be back in a car i love. i was taking it easy the first week of ownership (while i was driving with no insurance ) and at first i felt like i made the wrong choice seeing as how the dashboard, seats, and overall interior feel was identical to my old car (which had sport seats and smg m3 wheel) but after getting on it and throwing her around i was completely fell in love. the m truly is one amazing car and im glad i had a non-m e46 to move up from just so i can properly compare. this thing is an absolute beast and i love getting it in everyday!

thanks mang! i still need to roll my fenders and get an alignment so i can make the fitment proper on the vert! the sedan looks clean with the front wheels but theyre sunken in by around 2-3 inches, they look good from the side though

ive always been a pro-manual guy and ill be the first to admit nothing compares to plowing through the gears yourself with a clutch. as for my decision it was based on the fact i drive about 8 miles to work every day and i go to school where im always stuck in traffic. after driving one i felt it was a good compromise. and minus the fact it gets a bad rap for smg pump failures, its a great transmission to play with

welcome to the M3 club and all the mods that come with it and the empty wallet.
empty wallet is an understatement your ride was actually one of the car that almost made me pick up silver!

oem led tails are definitely on the to-do list! i remember the pricing one em was around 350 or so a while back, sucks it skyrocketed to 515

whats the difference between the 3rd brake lights? i assumed i already had the updated clear version!

to be honest i have no idea. i have actually tried to minimize the camber because it looks silly, but this is how it sat after i installed the springs :dunno"

I hope you paid the dude, those fronts just look funny on the rear of that sedan
it was more of a money saving move. the 18s needed new tires and the 19s came with great tread. i just had to pick up two fronts for the sedan for 100 bucks and i was set!

As a few ppl mentioned in this thread go with the oem led tails. Ive had mine since 07 and they havent let me down yet!
your car has definitely been an inspiration since i picked the car up and needed ideas, ill definitely work on making the aw/cinnamon vert guys proud

if you were local we could switch every other weekend

im running 235/35/19's up front. unfortunately i dont know my camber but its a lot and i cant seem to bring it down more than it is now. ill have to take it in for an alignment to confirm and bring it a bit positive. once i dial in either a 1.5/2.0 or 2.0/2.5 setup ill be adding spacers all around as well as install my stud kit. might be refinishing the wheels as well!

pics will follow once i get everything is in and gets installed

I would really like to see pics of those square 18's that were painted goldish/ bronze I couldn't tell. I'm thinking of doing something similar for winter wheels.
