Getting an M56 engine ready for bimmerfest :D

Im trying to do something not a lot of people have done, ive seen a few threads on here where a couple of people have added mods to their SULEV's but my stupid phone doesnt load a search option :/ so anyways, I have a 2005 325i and decided im guna pay the money and mod her out myself, so far all I have is the Dinan CAI, and a Magnaflow Catback, coming up is:

ST coilovers
AA Headers
Cams (havent found the right ones yet)
AA performance software
ESS steptronic transmission software
AA stage 2 supercharger (hks gts 7040 blower)
5,000,000 lb bottle nitrous (jk)
and a complete engine rebuild of more durable parts. And of course a lot of body work lol kinda nervous, ill let you guys know how this turns out

Save your money on the AAheaders, there are options 1/10 the cost.

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure the bb headers are the same ones as eBay, being said just look around here, there is a great thread about headers floating around

Ok, question.. I found a thread where someone said AA headers fit their m56 engine perfectly, so bb headers should fit fine too right? If the part number for the exhaust manifold is exactly the same as the m54?

ST coilovers - Fine
AA Headers - Ebay or BimmerBrakes
Cams (havent found the right ones yet) - PM me.
AA performance software - Since Shark doesn't work for autotrans, OE Tuning.
ESS steptronic transmission - software ?
AA stage 2 supercharger (hks gts 7040 blower) - Save your money, start reading up on nitrous threads
5,000,000 lb bottle nitrous (jk)

Good luck.

2005 325i M56 Engine

Diagram and Part # 18407515104 and 18407515105

http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...02&hg=18&fg=10

2005 325i M54 Engine

Diagram and Part # 18407514502 and 18407514503

http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...83&hg=11&fg=50

The Part # shows it as 2 Different Parts for Cyl 1-2-3 and 4-5-6. I am not sure if they did this as it has a different Cat Section part of the Manifold but it seems that. The Regular 325/330 Headers should work fine in this Swap.

Not sure how you got this but FYI they are not eBay Header. We have our headers special order and made to spec.

this was our only delay.. engine mount snapped on the drivers side, but looked to be pretty worn anyway.. good thing it did it inside the garage
