Drove my AA stage 1 across country and back.

Not a single issue. Had it pinned at 3000 rpm for 20 hours straight at one point. Which is only about 70 mph. I was worried the ole girl might give me fits but I was pleasantly surprised.

I just drove mine round trip from Maryland to New York with the same results. I have an M3 3.62, kept it at about 70 and average MPG was 37, not too bad.

He's clearly going on the OBC reported MPG which is hugely skewed when boosted. Don't take it seriously, he's not getting 37mpg.

Honestly though, It really does get good gas mileage, maybe not that much, but I can drive about 400 miles on a tank if I keep my foot out of the throttle.

Annoying sometimes when going to car shows. I drove from Baltimore to Philadelphia for a car show and put in a half tank before I left. When I got there, I had a little over a quarter and they almost didn't let me in because it was an indoor show.

Running lean does help with gas mileage.
