Finally got around re-installing the OEM xenon headlights and installing some High powered LED foglights. I had some issues with warnings on the BC and after some time complete failure of the xenon bulbs. installed some warningcancellers and replaced the 35W 6000K burners with 55W 6000K.

Car is in the shop right now getting the coiloovers installed. Unfortunetly we found a caliper that was stuck in position. So we couldnt change the brakepads. A new caliper ha been ordered and will be installed tommorow. Then i will post some more pics of the drop.

looking great! car has come a long way! headlight inserts look great as well. any plans to maybe shave the lip to remove the pimples? Doesnt the plate blocking the lower opening not allow air to flow?

Thanks Nekkon, i'm really happy how the inserts turned out as well. especially when the AE's are on.

@Jorge, this is al your fault for putting your DPE's on sale

@deerfield, now plans for that now. Maybe when i destroy the lip because its dropped now. Here in Holland we have a lot of speedbumps that aren't dropped car friendly. I havent had any problems with aircirculation or flow with the plate in front of the grill.

Yesterday the final update for now arrived. A ACS look carbon fibre windowspoiler. Weave and finish are flawless. I hope the fitment will just as good.

Picked up Mixflames old wheels today @ Baanvelgen.com . After some coffee and catching up on the progress of picking up a set of wheels on the other side of the world. Wich didn't went to smoothly, when i finally decided to buy the wheels and giving Baan the go to set up the pick up of the wheels with Fedex. The first thing that went wrong was that Fedex arrived for pick-up the same day we placed the order, Jorge didnt even have the shippinglabels by then. Then when we resceduled the pick-up the left the packages behind because there wasnt a commercial invoice included with the shipping labels . Then we resceduled again and that went without any problems this process took about 2 weeks. Total shipping took 5 days.

Here they are 8j front 10j rear DPE LS5's

The wheels are dirty but i will get them cleaned up nice, already placed a order for some new products. Because the wheels have brushed aluminium faces i cant clean them up with Iron-X because this will react with the bare metal.

Then we testfitted the wheels and then came the real problem. The left rear wheels didnt fit. because of my quad exhaust setup, the muffler sits to far to the outside to alow the wheel to fit. It was of by 2,5cm (1 inch) so decided there to take the wheels of again. I dont think the wheels will be mounted now for this year. first im going on a vacation and the build my garage. I am going to contact some exhaust shops to see what other possibilitys we have to fit the quad setup and make room in the budget.

This is the problem i have now. this is with 8,5j et35 and 10mm spacer

But my trip wasnt for nothing. Baan had some awesome wheels that arrived that morning. BBS RID's these are supposed to be the lightest wheels on the market this day. 12J waying in at 7,6kg (16,7lbs)

I had also planned to fit the CF spoiler today but because everything went wrong today i decided to wait with that. I just had this gutt feeling that it would go wrong, so i better take my time with that.
To be continued

Not much progress to report on the bimmer at the moment. But i did start to build my mancave. Before we can build we have to demolish the old shedd.

This is with what we started with a small storage room of 2,5m (8ft) by 3m (10ft).

Our little musscle man giving a helping hand

And then the works begin, started by tearing of the roof and removing the door.

figuring out where to make the cut to seperate the brick wall from the one of the neighbours

Put the sledge hamer to the wall and tear it down

After the teardown of the shedd we had to stop because i was out of room in the dumpster we hired to remove the debries. Next week we will procede with the deconstruction and start with laying the foundations for the new mancave. A place where i can do my detailing and park the car. The new space will be 5m (16,5ft) by 6m 20ft. The garage door will stretch the entyre width of the garage for easy acces. More updates soon.
The bimmer is already getting used to its new parkingspace
