What planet are you on where 5-8k is necessary? That's literally pro bodybuilder caloric intake.

As noted my shakes only contain 2 scoops. For one, it's near impossible to blend 4 without a blender. And two its painful to drink. Hah. So I drink two scoops with 16oz of whole milk 2-4 times a day depending on my eating abilities for that day.

pulled my right trap yesterday doing chest&back. I've been stretching it, putting topical anti inflammatory cream, and taking tylenol. I'm going to skip doing legs today, hopefully I'll be able to do them tomorrow.

Traps are better. Back in the gym monday and today was really intense to the point that I thought I was going to throw up in the gym. I guess not eating enough today could be to blame in part.
I'm basically starting to follow a paleo diet. Totally (well 98%) cut out dairy, cutting down on fast food, eating lots of fruits, veggies, nuts and some meat (but cutting down red meat). fuark this is challenging. I think I will have a hard time gaining weight unless i eat throughout the day.

Mike weren't you on a paleo diet? any good recipes you could suggest?

oh and it's exam time so hitting the gym 5x per week is just not happening till exams are done.

Professional athlete caloric intake. The kinda intake where you need to gain 40lbs in a year.

Looking good Andrew!

Yea I am pretty strict paleo monday-friday. I cheat a little more than I'd like to on weekends.

Get a crock pot and just throw sh1t in there lol. I can help you with whatever you need to know so just ask if you have questions. Recipes are pretty simple. Just mix paleo foods in whatever way you can think of,

Almost every one of my meals is meats, veggies, nuts, and maybe some fruit (usually in the early parts of the day).

You provide the worst ****ing advice ever. I assume you are pathetically trolling a car forum's fitness group.

Why? Because you're such an expert? You're very confident for someone who doesn't know the difference between aerobic and anaerobic activity.

Not really. I train with current/retired NFL players and national title olypmic weight lifters. I think I know my way around nutrition and lifting

Anaerobic/aerobic are too broad of definitions to define lifting/exercising, and I will always argue that. Simmer down my child.

Being a gym janitor answering phones, putting misplaced weights back on the rack and mopping up sweat pools from the incline bench does not constitute working out with said people.

If you know your way around nutrition and nutrition, why is everything you say so incredibly ignorant and misguided?

I have been taking Muscle Pharm- Assualt as a pre workout and I have seen really good results with it. You guys should try it out. You take it 30 min before a workout and it gets me really pumped up and focused!
