Your diet is the absolute most important thing. If you deviate from your diet for even one day, you can kiss your results goodbye.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
That doesn't really make sense.

I was emphasizing what you were saying. Not only is it allowable, it's a downright good practice that will enhance the effects of a diet.

Gotta give your body that something extra to burn once in a while, helps keep the metabolism going.

Always nice to have something to work for/look forward to at the end of the week.

I would agree to being able to cheat every once and while if he was on a long distance diet/meal plan. However, if he wants to look the best he can in 6 weeks, IMO he shouldn't deviate from the diet.

As far as the HIIT recommendation - it increases your RMR, improves insulin action in the body, and helps the body to burn fat more effectively. Not to mention, it aids in increasing the users V02 max which will make him a better athlete.

I live a little over a mile from the campus and I could start joggin/running there, lift, and jog back. Would that be too much? Lifting for 45-60 minutes and running 2 miles?

I wasn't really open to doing that because I was taking NoExplode before working out and I didn't think it would be smart to run with that.

If you're concerned with maintaining sensitivity and hormone levels, you'll strategically cheat - even on a six week timeline.

Can I be super strict 6 days out of the week and go all out one day? How about alcohol on that one day?

Sure you can. You will probably get better results doing 7 with a cheat meal but we have to enjoy life.

Even though I'm 240 6'2" whenever I run into friends I haven't seen in month they always say I've bulked up.

I don't really take compliments well, so I naturally say "ya I need to lose a lil", and they're like "no, you look good, you look huge".

But I dunno, I know what I look like with my shirt off, and my face is fat as ****... I still think I need to drop 15-20 pounds minimum.

I've been doing pretty well guys. I haven't worked out since Sunday lol... but I'm going today.

I love taking a few days break... I can always put up more weight.

Well, I also have to have a fight in 6 weeks. I wonder if I should start a thread specific for that...

You can do whatever you'd like. It's very easy to sabotage your results on that one day though.

I forget I shouldn't use "can I" around people that take it literally.

What should I do not to sabotage my 6 days of effort in one day?

I'm going to think of this post when it's a saturday and I'm in binge mode. I need to keep it to just a meal and a few drinks instead of entire weekends.
