my spelling is sh1t. But you get the idea. If you ahve a mild smoke, go with a mild to medium scothcc. You want them to completement each other not over power.

Some times I liek a nice bourbon with my ccigars. I really enjoy bookers .

I dig a nice Ashton VSG. Smooth, mellow and the perfect burn time.

Could depend a lot on your cut and light.

Some things I like to do.

When cutting, take very little off the end, take a draw before you even light, see if it has the pull you are looking for. If not take a little more off. Obviously it's easier to take a little off at a time then putting it back.

That Bugatti B1 Lighter is fantastic I use it all the time.

Roast the foot of the cigar, this means before you put it to your mouth take the torch about 4-6 inches away from the cigar and gently light around the edges and middle of the cigar. It won't "Light" but gently burn.

Once you have done this and it looks even, put it in your mouth and bring the lighter slightly closer and rotate as you light it. It will insure an even burn and also get it to a proper burn without making it charcoal.

Now as far as enjoying, enjoy it anyway you see fit.

However there are some tips and pointers to help you pick up on different flavors and smells. Take nice even draws and stick to 30 seconds to a minute between draws. I sometimes will go 2 draws and 2 draws, but only if the cigar is incredibly good and is a little tight. Most cuban box pressed cigars you have to draw more then once.

Also when smoking take note each third of the cigar and essential break it down into sections. Most cigars will change flavor profiles and tastes throughout the cigar.

Most importantly, smoke different cigars, just like eating or even drinking beer or wine. The only way your palate will develop and become refined is to smoke more and all sorts of different cigars. You mind find some of the cigars you first did not like, a year or two from now you love.

Also one more thing a lot of people who just start smoking like to ash and ash quickly. DONT!

Keeping the ash long isn't just a sign of a nice tight cigar it serves a purpose. The ash keeps the cigar cool enough to taste good, but hot enough to keep burning. You will be able to pick up on flavors A LOT more with a good ash holding down the temp.

If you do these I guarantee! your cigar will not go out even once, unless of course it's just a really crappy cigar. I hope this helps, and let me know how your next one goes.

This all day long. When I've been caught without a cutter, I'll take something sharp and poke a bunch of holes in the end and around the edges, works like a charm. The less you take off, the better IMO.

One of my friends who smokes pretty regularly does this and it bugs me to no end. He's constantly pushing his cigar into the ash tray to get rid of the ash

Cool thing about the bugatti b1 lighter is it has 2 different size punches in the side. As long as I have my lighter I'm always good to go.
