What are you guys using to maintain humidity, I've tried the gell, and it worked pretty well for awhile. I tried using the "sponge" that came with it, and I have to keep that wet way too much. I have it in my basement, and the humidty in my humidor is all the way down to 50.

Never use a sponge. Gel is best, use distilled water to refill it

I've got some of those Xikar gel disc things that I put the Xikar solution in. I also use distilled water if I don't have the solution lying around.

How big is your humidor? I use a Cigar Oasis XL electronic unit in mine, love it, worth every penny. You can get some good deals on one at Cigarbid.com, check it out.

tried a "my uzi weighs a ton" full body two weekends ago. Tasted pretty good, but took too much effort to keep it lit. Any real easy way to keep full body cigars from burning out, or could that just be this brand?

Pretty new to the cigar world.

You did not light it very well, you did nit suck hard enough or you let out sour too long

It could have been that the cigar humidity was high, or simply that it was plugged, but must of the times its just a wrong cut

Before starting your cigar always check if it has a nice draw, also if you used a punch to cut it, some cigars just dont cut well with punches, check the draw and if its not good cut it again with regular cutter.
