I like how they have "unreleased audio" two days after the jump.

But seriously, can anyone explain this to me? I understand that this is pretty cool. Dude jumps out of capsule however many miles up. But is it cool for anything other than its own sake? Is there valuable applicable knowledge being gained from this? Or is it just another feather that Red Bull gets to stick in its cap? What's the real impact here?

Space safety was cited as one benefit. Possible egress for astronaunts reentry to Earth?
