[QUOTE=DavidDee;14068369]I'm 17 and had my 325xi for 6 months (I worked 50 hour weeks and two jobs over the past two summers along with mowing lawns since I was 9). I can safely say that my car has never gone over 75mph. I've taken the "street survival" driving course along with drivers ed. I know that if I speed even once with my luck I'll get pulled over. Its not worth it to

lol.. I'd have killed for that.

Taken from fair work australia and remember generally we don't tip..

For junior employees, the minimum rates are:
Under 16 years of age $5.71
At 16 years of age $7.34
At 17 years of age $8.96
At 18 years of age $10.59
At 19 years of age $12.80
At 20 years of age $15.15.

For apprentices, the rates are:
Year 1 of apprenticeship $9.93
Year 2 of apprenticeship $11.74
Year 3 of apprenticeship $14.45
Year 4 of apprenticeship $17.16.

I agree that this thread will get out of hand with individuals looking down on the younger crowd (M&D)...

When I was 15 1/2 I bought an original e30 m3 w/ stock s14 for 10 grand. I worked for a year straight prior. Dumped money...s52 swap blah blah. Sold the car to an s14.net guy from S.Dakota

E36 M3 turbo when I graduated from college in 09'..I was 22 y.o.

As a young professional....one year working at FINRA as a regulator and I brought up a super clean 02' s54 e46 M3 from N.Carolina.

Im turning 25 this summer. Still live at home/help w/ mrtg.... might pick up another e30 m3 +s54....(nsx & 997 turbo's are NOT pipe dreams!)

Work HARD. PLAY HARDER!

19 and I have a 01 325, 93 v8 e36, a 96 dodge viper, and a 06 3500. Plus a couple of race cars. I'm not proud to own these cars! The reason being my father recently passed away and left me with all these vehicles. I would give them all up to have my dad back!

I believe that a young kid can own a fast car (viper 650hp) and not do crazy things. I think it's crazy for a parent to buy their kids something, but if the person wants to buy it themselves then have at it. Just my $.02

Damn I wish I lived in the USA to buy an M3 for $20k.....

I'm 22, bought my M3 for $AUD80k 2nd hand... couples years ago with saved money and a work salary sacrifice. Out of curiosity, for $80k, what could I have bought in the states?
