22. Just bought my Dinan M3. I've owned Supras since I was 16 then bought an evo 2 years ago. The evo was my daily driven track ***** but sold it almost a year to the day.

I think is great that young people are learning about the value of money by paying for their own cars. The hindsight to all these "I'm paying for my own m3/r8/NSX" statements is that there are many other payments in life that tags along with owning an awesome car, i.e. rent, insurance, college... etc. which many of us also had to pay when we were 16, thus made owning one unlikely.

No disrespect. But owning any car beyond the means of a commuter at a young age is, by the norm, lucky. Just sayin'.

My Ride: 2005 M3 Coupe
20 (21 soon). When I was 17, my parents bought me a zhp as a reward for doing well in high school and getting good scholarships for every college I applied to (money saved could've bought me a couple brand new M3s). I later sold the car and bought the m3 with the proceeds from that sale and some money I had saved up over the years.

21 Alot of sweat and time went into saving up for this car. 75+ hour work weeks in my teens to get to this point but it was worth it in my eyes. I graduate in May with a full time job, so I can relax a bit on the hours worked per week lol.
