Curious if anyone has ran these wheels, and if so what their thoughts are

http://www.ebay.com/itm/18-CSL-STYLE...ht_3821wt_1029

Now I know everyone loves VMR, and I agree, but these are far cheaper and also have a unique machined face with gunmetal coating. The gunmetal with machined face makes the wheel LOOK bigger IMO, and the shipped price is extremely low compared to VMR and other bigger names. Just curious if anyone has tried these and has any thoughts.

if theyre indeed TUV and JWL apporved, then youre good to go.
the machined face does look awesome tho, like some high end stuff almost.
I don think theyre gonna be anything below average weight at that price tho.

24Lbs according to the seller. They are staggered so I dont know how accurate that weight is though. 24lbs is pretty hefty IMO for an 18" wheel. But their weight is certainly comparible to VMR.

Thats average for a 8-8.5" cast 18" wheel.

I had racing hart c2 evo wheels which are very similar to CSL style wheels. They were 18x7.5 and weighed 20lbs so 24 sounds a bit heavy. All in all it isn't bad for the size/price.

What do you think about going with a non-staggered set?

Non staggered would run the same cost but I'm curious what wheel width to run. Would I want 8.5 all around? Would 225 on the rears be too narrow of a tire for a 330ci?

What do you think about a 18x9.5" et40 squared setup with 235/40/18? Any clearance issues on the front with a coupe?

I'm wondering if 9.5 et40 will work on the front as well.

i believe that would work, but you would have to run a stretched tire to clear the strut. and fender.
see the thread with aggressive square fitment, plenty of guys running 9.5 and 9s up front on Ms and non M

Yea I picked up a set of 235/40/18 conti tires so they should stretch nicely on 9.5's up front.

Here ya go. Excuse the paint it's covered in pollen and dust. I simply bolted the wheels on and took some pics shortly thereafter. The machined finish really makes these wheels shine amazingly, and the concavity is plenty for my tastes.

Had some time to detail it this weekend. Figured I'd post a few pics. The window tint was removed and the calipers painted in these pics.
