It's a slow gradual process building your ability to recover from a lot of volume. Harder at my age (or even your age) as oppose to someone Matt's age, but it's still doable.

Just stick with the program and be consistent with effort and intensity and be judicious with rest days. You'll be there in no time.

I don't know how I'm running this fast this early in the year. Love these shoes!

:30 plank hold in pushup position with feet in rings
:30 hold in bottom of front squat with 135lb racked
:30 hold with 135lb barbell overhead
:30 hold at parallel on ghd
:30 hold at top of dip position on rings
:30 hang from pullup bar

Rest 1:00 between rounds but no rest between holds during rounds

Good lord was this brutal. Almost puked.....

8:00 row at
14/17/20/17/14 spm for 2:00/1:30/1:00/1:30/2:00
2104 total meters. 2000 at 7:36

Shoes are amazing. These replace my old ones that were pretty beat up. Heel is very raised, about .75 inch. Puts you in a better position for Olympic lifting. Completely solid non compressible sole.

Crossfit open workout 12.1

As many burpees as possible in 7 minutes jumping to touch a 6" target after each rep. Got 93. Little disappointed. Wanted 100. Will probably try again tomorrow.
