SMG wont Start, Wont Prime

I really need some help im really getting fustrated. The smg light had came on a couple days ago, the car would drive fine all gears would go in good as normal. The other night i got home, i turned off the car, got out and locked it, but i could hear this buzzing noise coming from the engine so i started the car again and it was fine but the noise was still there. i went inside, the next morning i tried to start the car but it wouldnt go into neutral it shows 1st gear the shift nob moves freely from reverse to neutral to gear. I then opened the hood and i could smell like something burned, wire, something electrical. First thing i do is swap the salmon relay thinking it was that i try starting the car and nothing! Then i notice that the 40 amp fuse is blown so there im convinced that thats it, i go buy a new 40 amp fuse put it in, try to start the car and it now shows a blinking 0. still no start. i try it again and then now it goes back to just showing 1. i check the fuse and its not blown. So now i turn to the battery, i charge it for a couple of hours but still nothing. whenever i unlock the car i dont hear the pump priming anymore, only when i turn the key in attempt to start. Any suggestions ? Ideas ? has this happened to anybody else? is it the pump out !?

Do you have INPA or the ability to look at and clear error codes for the transmission? Sometimes if the SMG had a problem it will trigger an error code and won't allow the transmission to work until cleared.

So you were aware of the incessant 'buzzing noise', failed to identify its source and consciously ignored it and walked away.

It was doubly unfortunate you had problems in the morning.
Perhaps leave it another night or two and see if your luck improves.

You could check if and when power is getting to the SMG pump motor.
