My Ride: 2003 ZHP 6MT
Here's driving my ZHP at Buttonwillow last weekend, though unfortunately not flat out. My fastest lap was 2:20, which is 3 seconds slower than my best lap (2:17) when I drove it in February with coaching help from BMWTek. I can blame some of the slower laps on traffic but I think the real problem is not pushing close to the traction limit and not linking my turns together smoothly.

If you hit somewhere around 8500, it'll just bend the exhaust valves. If you hit 10,500, then the connecting rods will exit the engine.
