lol cool thanks man yeah I'm going to give it some work tommorw after school and really try to get the dam thing off.

did it look like my pic in the op? and what was your strategy for getting it in correctly?

Same as yours, trying different sides first, trying both at the same time. It just took a couple tries.

yeah not a punch but a solid push. i just need to get it out though thats the part that is really killing me .. i shall try removing the airbag tommorow and post back thanks for the help man i appreciate it ,.

Update I was able to get the bag out a few times but when I tried to install it still dosent sit flush.. It dosent lock all the way in.. Should I try getting a new inner metal assembly with the clips and all?

I can sell you the part you want. Or I can sell you a new wheel, with the airbag in it. Did you even try the jaws of life?? Only you know why yours won't fit squares go in the square hole. Triangle go in the triangle hole. Seriously though, you have been working on putting an airbag in your wheel for 1 week. Take it to a dealer.

will they charge me the standard 200 bucks for 2 seconds?
