Sound system suggestions - Page 2

Damn!... You all know a **** load about car audio... If anyone wouldn't mind sharing their advice/suggestions on the variety of speakers/tweeters for sale on Amazon.com and which ones would be a smart investment, I would really appreciate it!!
I have the original HK throughout my 04' 330Ci and I'm looking to upgrade or even something similar at the least... Front speakers sound like they're blown and overall the system just seems weaker...
Don't have a whole lot to spend and I was even considering just replacing the front two tweeters on each door... Bad Idea?!

Your replying to an 8 month old thread. I would suggest starting a new one for desirable responses.

I'm going to state that you need to be willing to spend some ca$h if you're going to improve the sound. Going cheap on just trying to replace some tweeters will not get the job done at all.(think amp, component speakers, sub, dynamat etc.). There is no easy, cheap fix.

Basically...Go Big, or Go Home...sorry if that sounds rude but you'll end up wasting your money like I originally did.

You're right and I agree! ... I'm just thinking there's gotta be something out there to replace just the tweeters for now.... They sound like crap. Eventually I'm going to do a full upgrade... I'm not looking for anything "serious" though... Just asking for suggestions! Thanks.
