New member probably a dumb question...

For hood fitment, Whats the difference between pre and post facelift as far as fitting M3 Spec hoods? I was searching and it seems like the M3 hoods fir prefacelift cars but not post facelift? The M3 on non m car fitment thread says you have to space the fenders out to fit M3 parts? It just looks like theyre are a ton of M3 hoods but not too many non m hoods that are what I really want. I want a true vented, double sided Carbon fiber hood where the vents are carbon fiber as well. I looked at Modbargains but the slats are plastic, VIS racing looks the closest? But their pictures suck so much I cant tell if the slats are CF or if it is truely vented... Sorry if this is dumb thanks for the help!

Ya I know but I put it here because I didn't feel like getting flamed by a thousand people telling me to search... I just want a concise answer from someone who knows. And as for why it matters, the slats are going to be the only part that is left un painted, so it would look a little silly to have a carbon fiber hood where the only part that anyone sees is the cheap plastic vents... I've seen a million hoods on m3s that are exactly what I want, just need to know if they would fit my 2001 330ci
