So I have been using muscle sport lean whey revolution. It is isolate protein. It is gluten free and lactose free. I pay 40 bucks for 3 pounds/29 servings. I do 2 servings a day.

Can anyone recommend me a equal or better protein for a comparable price or even lower.

Imo (and many others) the best decently priced protein is "optimum nutrition gold standard 100% whey".

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/opt/whey.html
You can see the specs in the link.

I buy the 10 pound ("149" servings, but I take 1.5-2 servings at a time, after my workout) bag for 112$, but there are often promotions (for example I bought a bag a few months back and got a free 2 pound 100% gold casein. Also, 10% off email signup!
Extreme milk chocolate being my favourite flavour for the whey, but it's not available in the ten pound bag, so I get double rich, which isn't as tasty, but it's not bad.

I've always purchased the EAS vanilla at BJ's wholesale for $25 for a 5lb bag. Someone talk me out of it.

If you have amazon prime, it will be cheapest there. Otherwise, bodybuilding.com
I just bought a 4lb tub last week. Banana cream or cookies and cream taste good. Only two flavors I tried.

MP does not, it even has lactase enzyme and other ones to help with digestion. Read ingredient to confirm for yourself.

I'm lactose intolerant too.
Muscle Milk 100 is good.
NOW whey protein isolate is the best. It has no other ingredients. Just whey isolate so you can create your own mixes.

When looking at proteins, a sure fire way to make sure something does not have lactose is to check the sugar content. Less than a gram should be lactose free enough.

Optimum Nutrition Hydro Whey does not. It is super fast digesting and tastes awesome. Worth every penny. Low fat and cholesterol too. Buy it now, thank me later.

I use Optimum Nutrition Whey after workout and Casein at night. I mix a tablespoon of Muscle Pharm Creatine with my shakes. I tried Muscle Pharm Whey and it made my arms go dead numb when I sleep at night. I ditched it and went back to ON. No side affects after...

I will not take creatine. stuff is crap, and when you stop taking it you will lose the mass. Plus it gives you kidney stones.
