Cool True dual exhaust

Its been awhile since I've been on this fourm. Now that I have more free time and some money after the wedding. I want to first start with my 325i 01 sedan exhaust, but I don't see anyone has true dual or am I not looking in the right area? Used to have them on my ls1 camaro, don't know if I can do the same thing on my BMW. Any pointers?

So you have duals on your car though? I have not went to the muffler shop yet. But I'm thinking about taking of te resonators and run from the cat to muffler. Dont have an idea how it would sound because I see a lot of videos just muffler cut outs and resonators cut out.

yip have duels with no balance pipe will do the balance pipe when im boosted right now its not needed oh forgot to mention i have no cats we dont have testing...

taking out the resonators will make the sound higher pitch you need more volume in the exhaust if you want a deeper sound...

sorry dont have a vid... but everyone who hears it likes it... its not loud but gives off a good sound... dont think you get a true sense of the sound from vids anyway, but i should try make a vid some time...

What's the problem with sounding like an F1 car? I love the rasp the M3 makes.

lol your car will never sound like a civic because it has 2 more cyl

your mid and rear section should look like this:

if you want a deep sound you need the largest silencers you can find i would start by changing out the rear silencer to the largest free flow type you can fit in there... if you happy with the sound job done if not you can swap out the middle box for a longer silencer... performance gain will be minimal at best with you keeping the cats and headers...
