need opinions on wheels

im lookin to get some new wheels on a budget. after checking the ones on tirerack that would fit my 325i, i narrowed it down to 3. im getting 16" so i dont have to buy new tires. all 3 of these would cost about $400 for a set of 4...not bad. if you guys have other suggestions than these, post it. im leaning towards the first 2.

i have an ORIENT BLUE 325i with CLEAR corners and sidemarkers

WHEEL 1- Elbrus I08
WHEEL 2- Elbrus I06
WHEEL 3- Sport Tuning T6

I think Option 1 would be the best look for your car. I do like option 2 for mine though since my car is black. Where did you see them at?

BEFORE YOU GO AFTERMARKET, look on eBay for take-offs from somebody else that went aftermarket. You may find a complete set of BMW wheels for a very reasonable price. TIP -- Avoid paying shipping on used tires, you can usually get better used tires locally for the cost of shipping used tires across the country. Craig's List is also a good source or take-offs.

if your going to go with wheels, go 17 or 18 in either one of those styles otherwise it will look really funny. just sell the rims and tires when you get new ones and youll break even on the tire cost at least.

no 16's get 18's. its always easier to get new tires than get new wheels.

the reason to change wheels is so they look nice. 16's dont look nice. if you dont care might as well just stick with stock.
its like you buy a brand new computer and the good thing is its about as fast as the old one? whats the point?

You don't want 16s, that's no different than what you already have. You want 17s or 18s in those styles. I like 3, then 1, then 2, by the way. But I don't like any of them in a 16. You should seriously look on eBay. Search for BMW OEM E46 17" WHEELS. You should be surprised at what you find.

At $100/wheel you probably are going to get cast wheels of queastionable quality. The only good news is that 16s will result in a tire with significant sidewall which should help you avoid bending these wheels when you run through pot holes. But if I were you I'd pass because they probably will give you nothing but trouble. One key question to find out is if they are hub centric - and I would get the specs to make sure. If not, you better run away as fast as possible because they will never balance up properly.
