newbie E46 Basic question

Hi , I have just bought a mint 316 se 1999 reg with only 75k and full bmw service history. Very pleased with it, first E46 although we have had an older Z3 for 10 years which has been 100% as well. On the MOT the E46 has 2 advisories 2.4.G.2 on both front suspension arms (play in bush/pin). From what i have read on here seems fairly common, is it age and lack of use that causes the wear as Z3 is older and done twice the miles without any problem (I guess E46 is a lot heavier, Lastly as car has only done 3k since last mot and can not feel any play in the handling of the car do you think it will fail MOT(next week)? (bit of a crystal ball question I know!!!)
