323ci oxygen sensor bypass

Hi
I have just had my car checked with code reader and it says fuel trim bank 1 & bank 2
also misfire on cylinders 4,5,6 pendinding
at a loss but someone says you can bypass the sensor or away that can get rid of it and turn my EML out

You don't want to bypass the sensor. You want to fix your problem.

It may be an 02 sensor, but I think it's odd you have FT issues on bank 1 and 2, but only misfires on bank 2. Thus, I'm not thinking 02 sensor. I'm thinking an intake leak and for some reason, DISA is coming to mind. I know I've seen posts about misfires in only one bank, and I think maybe DISA...although I'm also thinking maybe it was the lower intake boot. I remember thinking it odd that a single leak would affect the second bank more.

Vague recollections, I know. Sorry...but hth anyway!
