323ci oxygen sensor bypass
Hi
I have just had my car checked with code reader and it says fuel trim bank 1 & bank 2 also misfire on cylinders 4,5,6 pendinding at a loss but someone says you can bypass the sensor or away that can get rid of it and turn my EML out regards andrew |

You don't want to bypass the sensor. You want to fix your problem.
It may be an 02 sensor, but I think it's odd you have FT issues on bank 1 and 2, but only misfires on bank 2. Thus, I'm not thinking 02 sensor. I'm thinking an intake leak and for some reason, DISA is coming to mind. I know I've seen posts about misfires in only one bank, and I think maybe DISA...although I'm also thinking maybe it was the lower intake boot. I remember thinking it odd that a single leak would affect the second bank more. Vague recollections, I know. Sorry...but hth anyway!
