brokenojoke Registered User Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Albuquerque, NM Posts: 1 My Ride: 1994 325is View My Garage	I'm planning on swapping s54 into my M-technic, will my facotry tranny work? I have a 1994 325is M-technic that is perfect for an s54 swap. My question is will the stock 325is tranny work with the s54? I know a lot of guys with their e36 m3s keep their stock tranny, but this isn't the m3. Will it hold the extra power of the s54 if it does bolt up? Also, there seems to be a LOT of different opinions of what engine management to use. Has anybody here done this swap, and if so what engine management are you using? Is it a flashed chip or a stand alone? Any help would be appreciated. Last edited by brokenojoke; 02-27-2012 at 10:20 AM.
