M3 DME Question - Different Fuel Pump Relay Pin for Euro vs US?

Hey guys, I was looking at our DME in the WDS, and noticed that for some reason that the fuel pump relay is powered by a different pin on US vs Euro cars. Connector 2 pin 11 for US cars, and connector 4 pin 10 for euro cars.

Normally I wouldn't care - but I flashed my car to the factory Euro tune some time back since I installed a complete euro exhaust setup in my car. The car runs fine, but I did notice that I can't hear the fuel pump prime - at the time I just chalked it up to being a euro quirk. I now see that US m3s control fuel pressure via PWMs and euro M3s don't. So what's the effect with my car? Is the system just running at 100% duty cycle? Less?

Sgould I flash back or should I just leave "well enough" alone?
