Not sure where the "hoodrat" crap came from, or why the OP is so defensive when all of his questions were answered immediately and clearly.

When he is talking about the laws recently changing, I wonder if he is referring to state statute 790.33? It's possible that his city or county had some unlawful rules on the books.
His county had a 5 day waiting period versus a 3 day waiting period. However, the county never had a waiting period for CWL as I stated above.

Of course, it is much easier to buy a gun a zillion miles away sometime in the future then ship back to Florida.

No, none of it is suppose to make any sense.

OP. Just admit you were wrong. I guess you dont browse this subforum as much as some people.

The Gods down here (subforum) (well the guys I consider gun gurus) are: JonJon, Reedo, and GlockMan ( in no particular order)

I am quite certain MANY others would say the same thing.

Besides, GlockMan could have EASILY told you to GOOGLE.... since you know, the laws are posted out there on the internet.

Also, come on man, he tried to help you out. He didnt need to do that, but he did.

You had different rules at palm beach county gun shows, perhaps they changed in sept last year.

This is not debatable.

For those clueless above, palm beach county enforced it's own rules that made it impossible to take almost any firearm purchase home with you, and much different than if you bought at a gun store.

Now you know...

Lol. Please post a copy or cite of these "rules" from palm beach county. Remember, just cause a policy or law is passed, even with the signature of the Governor, Mayor or some douchebag city council member does not necessarily make it a valid law or even enforceable. In fact... they are breaking the law in even passing the laws.

Quote:
In 1987 the Florida legislature passed a law that declared for all time that county and municipal laws regulating firearms and ammunition are null and void. In 2011 the Florida Legislature added teeth to the law to allow for recovery of fines, litigation costs & fees, and removal from office of local politicians and bureaucrats who willfully break state law.

Palm beach has their own share of idiots and politicians being put back in their place

As stated 3 times now, before and after Sept, it was perfectly acceptably in Palm Beach county to buy a gun at a gun show with no wait if you had a CWL. PERIOD.

It did not change yesterday, last year, or the year before that.

Just give up and take the info.

Palm beach county is known for being anti-gun, the gun shows here had stupid add-on waiting periods.

You know what I see? I see a guy, that lives in your state, which carries concealed DAILY, owns more guns than you will bullets, understands the laws, and how they apply to him and everyone else giving you accurate advice. Did he kinda come off a d!ck? Maybe, if you read it that way.

I read a little sarcasm, and a lot of info, and in between I read your name calling and disrespectful posts to someone trying to help you.

This is a simple handgun purchase. If you are unable to do what is required, maybe you should not buy one at all. If this is confusing, I can't imagine what you will feel like if you ever used it in self defense.

Fact is, you came in asking a question which is easily a google question, got the info, called the person giving you that info names and attempted to be funny, and are now butthurt from the rest of the forum sticking up for the other guy.

Get over it. Apologize, put your tail between your legs and walk away...

Everyone in the thread is right but you. Google State Preemption.
Local towns CAN'T make up their own firearm laws. Sounds like you are afraid to stand up
to politicians, huh? Shame

WTF are talking about?

I never emailed you about anything and you still don't have a clue about Florida or "Palm Beach" gun laws.
