Need Some Advice...Valve Timing
Just found the right car after searching for months but there are a couple things with the car that i need advice about. The PO said that inpsection 1 and 2 have been done on the car and he has the records to show it. He said the only thing the car needs is "VALVE TIMING." The car has less than 65k on it and its an 01. How much is that going to run? is it an emergency to do the work asap? Im going to drive the car about 900 home. Should a car with such low mileage with both inspections done still need the valve timing done????????

It's normal maintenance for the M3 guys. Tischer sells the kit for $380. Not sure how to go about doing it. Not an M. I would imagine any indy BMW shop could do it, but there's probably a DIY on here. Search around.
