Does anyone else have nightmares about their e46?

So this has happened to me SEVERAL times, WAY over 15 times (that I have remembered at least). Usually they involve my breaks going out and me being in my car. However, its not like I'm speeding and then they go out and I slam into a wall, its more like I'm going under 5 MPH and I'm mashing on the breaks, but the car is still moving very slowly, then I pull the E-brake but It doesn't help, and I hear the slow crunch of my front bumper as I roll into the car in front of me.

Last night though, it was even worse... In said dream, I went to visit a friend in Chicago, and parked my car in a parking garage for his building or some shiz. I spend about 2 hours in his house/apt and on my way back to the car, I realize I forgot to lock it. I get to my car and the first thing I notice is there is a HUGE mfing dent on the passenger side near the back wheel. Then I notice, sure enough, my glovebox is open, my ipod is gone, my trunk is open also. Then I notice (cuz dreams dont really make sense) that EVERYTHING on my car is totally ****ed. Like tires slashed, headlights, side mirrors, etc smashed in, my seats are ripped up, even my godamn shift knob is gone. Then I open the engine compartment and see mfing moss all over my engine bay. So apparently a gang of like 6 people had to butrape the crap out of my car while i was gone (and then plant moss into my engine bay???). I started screaming and cursing at the top of my lungs and legit thought this was real and started raging and crying (kinda) at the same time. Car ran (somehow) but I couldnt drive it anywhere ovbiously.

But what the **** man, This **** happens to me >>>AT LEAST<<< once a month, usually way more than that. Does anyone else suffer from this BS? I can't take this anymore Am I insane?

So i guess that means that I'm definitely a fanatic eh?

You know you're an e46fanatics when you constantly have nightmares about your car breaking and/or being hit.

It's good to see that I am not the only one who has terrible nightmares about my E46

Same here about a runaway car without brakes, careening around turns trying to slow down, narrowly avoiding crashing into other cars running through intersections.
So relieved to wake up with heart pounding
WTF!!!

keep having this nightmare about one of the roads I take on my route to work. Its an extremely steep hill, and I always imagine a large truck in front of me stopped and then rolling backwards towards me, crushing me and my car...

Ya know, I have dreams about my car too, but they are all good dreams! Flying along twisty roads or race tracks having a good ole time! Sounds like you guys need to cut down on the caffeine or something!

See, I would'a guessed it was that your cooling system failed catastrophically due to forgetting to replace a single piece of it during maintenance.

My car nightmares usually involve me driving some supercar - but the car accelerates like a Corolla and is limited to like 3k rpm, has slow steering response and no grip.

Bawahahaha...except the nightmare is real.

I'm a pretty big worry wort when it comes to my car too. Every time i walk away from her i always like to take an extra look back because it might be the last time i see her in such great condition.

I had nightmares where the cooling system blew up.

Sounds like you're stressed about things in your life that aren't under your control, or you're experiencing anxiety about a risky decision.

Nightmares frequently about having my car ticketed/towed/grille candy stolen (again).

My transmission light went on last week and I had a dream the night before last that I parked my car on a hill and got out and it got stuck in neutral or something and started rolling down the hill towards a bunch of people and I had to chase it down and jump in the passenger side and push the brake pedal with my hands. Only nightmare so far but a bad one lol.

I've had my brakes go out in my ranger before, rear caliper blew a seal and I was screwed. 50 mph toward a T-junction and a red light, put it in gear and killed the engine.

Had to pull a hard right, 90 degree turn at 35, Truck did it beautifully! No skidding that I remember, I was more interested in not hitting the car that had the green light. Got into the ditch, and rolled to a stop.

Ended up bouncing it off the brick front of Orileys Autoparts about 30 seconds later though. Never want to do that again!
