Vanilla coke. I used to love that when I was younger.

I do drink ginger ale every now and then, but it's a treat so I get premium stuff that doesn't have HFCS. Works well with bourbon too.

a report came out today suggesting that carmel color in all these soft drinks has been linked to Cancer.

it is in the works right now to ban the coloring in all soft drinks by FDA.

this does not affect me as I dont drink soda.

.... that is all.

Have a look here - Aus grocery market is basically controlled by Coles and Woolworths and in most if not all instances these retailers dictate pricing to suppliers:

Although... we do pay higher prices in Aus than what you appear to in the US. Unlikely that we see 2L for $0.99.

No point giving deals when you'll sell out by the end of the night regardless

I read a report (no link, sorry) that HFCS is incredibly difficult for your body to breakdown (consume) and basically turns into fat that is stored around your organs and torso. While it is an alternative 'natural' sweetner to sugar its energy yield is higher and doesn't breakdown easily.

HFCS is the sweetner in many drinks, chocolates, desserts...

Coke and soft drinks - stopped years ago and immediately felt so much better. I do drink soda water, sparkling mineral water and occasionally Phoenix organic ginger ale. With coke and soft drinks I usually can't get past a sip

I love a nice refreshing coke, but I don't drink it unless it's in the house. The sugar and caffeine must do something though cause I usually get a headache later on.
