Euro interior trim same as US spec?

Hi-

I have wood grain trim in my e46 325iT (pre-facelift). I'd like to give a go at re-painting it as there seems to be some folks that have done that project to good effect here. I'm thinking some sort of silver/aluminum look. I think it would look nice against my otherwise all-black interior.

I'd like to do the project on a spare set of trim in the event that it goes all sideways and I have to scrap it so I've been looking on eBay for trim bits pulled from a car. I've found some on the eBay UK site for really cheap (like $20 in some cases)

So here's the question: would trim from a european spec Touring fit in my US spec Touring?

Thanks!

They should be the same. Check the part numbers on realoem.com just to be sure.

Looks like the center console trim is slightly different. (part numbers differ by 2 digits - and yes I selected LHD for the Euro model). Oh well. The prices actually don't look all that bad (assuming they're accurate) so I may just buy the retrofit kit from the dealer and then hawk my wood grain kit and try to recoup a few bucks. The prices for the retrofit kits on eBay are outrageous - like over $100 markup over just going to the dealer. My time is valuable - I think I'll go this route.

There's someone on here selling slightly flawed (finish cracking) sedan trim for $50 + shipping for the full kit and kaboodle including shift knob. They're in the US.
