Airbag Light following OBC computer fix

So i followed the useful guide which enabled me to fix my broken OBC so I can now use the computer and set my clock, that's the good news. The bad news is I now have an airbag light. I've stripped back down and built back up 3/4 times now all connectors are in, I can't see any damage etc where I've messed up. I took it to a local specialist and there is no error code being reported (as I suspected but turned out to be wrong), when he ran a test the machine couldn't communicate with the unit, which suggests a connection problem somewhere. He suggested it could be the slip ring which I've re-checked superficially and all seems ok, the horn also works so I'm running out of ideas. At the moment I'm either thinking of trying a different slip ring, or just giving it to the garage and letting them take a look but I wondered if anyone had any other ideas as I'm a bit flumuxed?

Are you referring broken OBC meaning the button on turn signal?
If so, when you were fixing it, did you un-hooked the battery?
Have you try reseting SRS light?

Yes I do mean the computer. I did disconnect the battery. I can't reset the light as it's not reporting an actual fault code. When the mechanic ran a test it was reporting a communication failure so somewhere a connection isn't right, hence my question about the slip ring. However the horn works so I'm a bit baffled.
