Hm. Have 4S too... are you using ios tethering oder Cydia App MyWii ? Dynavin has problems to connect to 4s wifi. after 5 - 10 retrys it works. Fix my Wifi is installed on the Dynavin.

Exactly. I also use M3's ROM version 1.2.2

I'm still on release_20110517 rom. It is the only one it work.
I hope Gingerbread will be good for me. Need one good working player like Power AMP and i will be happy.

(Sdcard needs to have 3 partitions: 1st partition FAT, 2nd partition ext2, 3rd partition swap)

The Dynavin only has 256mb of Ram and most of it is used up by Android OS.
With Swap on it frees up the memory the system can use.

Heres a how to guide with all the steps you need to partition your sdcard for swap and app2sd

Gingerbread BETA

- I was hoping to have something more stable but will continue to work on it
- currently not very stable and will only boot up if its booting from a sdcard root filesystem
- boots up touchscreen works but after 5 minutes it randomly crashes
- I have built it from android source code and tried prebuilt gingerbread with similar results
- currently the only way to make touchscreen work is to use the same kernel from Dynavin
- if you would like to try this you will need to have a a micro sdcard with 3 partions

• -- partion 1 formatted fat32 and made bootable
• -- partion 2 formatted ext3
• -- partion 3 formatted fat32

I followed all these steps... how do I know it is working??

Do I have to manually move the apps onto the SD in the settings / applications menu?

To check if swap is on or not use the terminal app and type in "free" without the quotes if that doesnt work try typing busybox free. It should show how much memory, buffer, and swap memory is being used.

There are few different free apps from market that can move all the apps for you just search app2sd in Android market.

Still unsure of this... typing free shows roughly 240mb odd of space with about 30mb free so I'm guessing that is all of the Dynavins memory.

I have my first partition set up as fat16, 64kb, primary and active (as normal to boot from sd etc) totaling 486mb which the Dynavin sees fine.

I have the second partition set up as ext2, primary totaling 1.36GB but neither the Dynavin or the app2sd programs seen to recognise this partition.

Can you see what I might be doing wrong?

Hey hey. What do you think about eq? Is there any app in the market to manage EQ settings in Android side? Because i hear my music from sd card @android side and my changes to the eq outside from the android side, takes no effect in android any suggestions?

Think i test Winamp on Android Market tomorrow. Seems that this have an nice EQ. Will post my experience with it tomorrow.
