Hello fellow Pittsburghers! Sadly my airbags went off by themselves back in October and it has been a fight with BMW NA to get them to pay for some of the repairs as the airbags went off while I was driving in a straight line with no damage done to the car. I finally got the car back last week (yes as in 9 months later) and was so happy to take a ride in her again (Schenley Park at night time is the best). I would love to meet some PGH fanatics (and hopefully some recommendation on indy shops since the Steelerships are raping me front to back and any "recommended" place I try such as Baum Blvd Auto just fail me.

Did I already miss the Schenley Park Vintage Grand Prix this year ? I live in Oakland and have been walking up there for the last 4 years. I love the vintage BMW races they have and watching the Z4 and M3 Pacecar having fun is always a highlight. Glad to see there are some fanatics from PGH out there and looking to join the facebook group!

Are you the Orient Blue 325 that always parks in front of my apartment on Atwood Street?! Seems to be the only 325 I see with anything done to it at all besides an Alpine White/Red Leather E92 I see further down Atwood.

Hey guys, ended up here I after I stumbled onto Sweetness' thread of posting a picture of you and your e46... glad I finally found the group.

I went to Pitt and live in Southside now - anyone else in SS?

Sent my request to join the FB group.

See you all this weekend (hopefully) at the PVGP! I believe I'm going on Saturday only.

Bimmerfest East is also coming in August, I won't be participating in fear that my car will deteriorate. Still need new control arms and CCV system...not to mention that my work cut back on my hours

Your car won't deteriorate on your way there. Is a fast 4hrs drive that I do often and is nice to cruise. I will really suggest you come along. I will surely go

Damn I wish I had this kind of money. I need new CCV, control arms, DISA, motor mounts, fuel filter, whole suspension, and then who knows after that. Bodywork, exhaust repair, guibo, Power steering system, ECU fan, climate control fan, service parking brake, FSR, window regulators, fix A and C trim. Then rear bumper fix. O and heater valve. O,O and probably a radiator cause its bound to leak soon.
o,o,o make that Exhaust manifold gasket too. P.S. let's not forget Pulleys too. Oh wait, throw in Crankshaft Seal too.

That's like $5,000.

So that makes the grand total $8,000 car bought for, and then $7,000 in maintenance alone. Nice. Not a car for the feint of heart.

Too far away for a little car meet. Even though Bimmerfest is pretty huge, I still won't go until they have a bigger turnout.

Just added you in now!
