Hey anyone know where I can get the cleanest fuel in Pittsburgh with minimal impurities? I just moved here from Texas, and I've always filled with Chevron premium, but it looks like Sheetz and Sunoco are the only places here. I've been filling with Sheetz, but I just got through some major fuel-related problems...car died and I had to replace fuel filter and fuel pump, and now my car is throwing p0420 codes after I replaced them. I'm thinking of going to Sunoco now, but can't find any information on them, compared to Chevron.

My family has been using all forms of fuel for the past 20 years I have been alive, ranging from 87 Cheapo Gas to 93 for higher performing cars in the family. We have never ever had a problem with gas. When I first bought my car, I filled it up with 89, then 93, then finally found a station that sells 91. That being Sunoco. Chevron is great gas, and so is Shell. However, we have none of those in my area. I would always go to Shell if we had one. But for now, most Sunocos carry 91, and that is what I use. Very good gas. Keep in mind that not every Sunoco has the 91 however.

This thread pretty dead? Does it pick up after winter? Relocating back to Cranberry for a few months this weekend, curious as to what the Euro crowd is like up in Pittsburgh.

I'm also interested in anything going on in the Pittsburgh area. I'm a Pittsburgh area native and all I've really seen recently event wise were things hosted by the allegheny chapter of BMWCCA. And also the PVGP which I'll attend this year and did in 2013 last year.

Hey gentlemen, our club is still up and running! We are basically running out of our facebook page "Pittsburgh E46 AG" or something like that. We have yet to meet up, as I haven't had the time to organize anything and it seems all the others are sedentary as well. But we most certainly are around! We'll probably end up meeting up sooner or later. For me, I haven't been wanting to meet because my paint job has been in pisss-poor condition and needs attention before I take some photos. Hope all is well. Cheers.

Sounds good. Do you guys ever meet up for any track events or anything? There's not much to do in the area that I know of, just Pitt International Race Complex(old Beaver Run) with some track cross and autocross events over summer.

Pittsburgh BMWCCA seems inactive. Even though IIRC they will have some driver clinic with the Porsche club at Pitt.

No idea what they're up to, just sucks there's really nothing cool going on around here like in other cities.

I agree with chach. Never actually been to one but I've driven by. There's always groups of some dropped honda hatches, a couple subarus, an srt4, and every once in a while a couple street bikes in miracle mile shopping plaza in monroeville. They make it annoying going to taco bell lol.

You could try the Cars N Coffee crowd. Pittsburgh doesn't seem to have much of a car community.

Yeah, I feel like we're mostly an old muscle car city. Is anyone going to bimmerfest this year though? And if so traveling in a group?
