IT IS A NEW TURBO..... Not released to the public yet! Hence it is not in their current lineup!

Would you mind being more specific? I respect when you post,(very knowledgeable) but I am afraid I don't understand exactly what you are getting at. Custom manifold?

The 7275 didn't work out like planned.l. I will likely drop down to the 6766 end of summer.

Why did you pass on the 7175? Did you figure the spool up time to be too slow?

The 6766 IS an amazing creation. So much potential. That could well be your best bet. With your high compression and the spool up time of the smaller turbo, your lag would be almost nil. Talk about throttle response! I like the idea. The area under the curve could be amazing.

Isnt Chris putting one in the HPF track car?

Goal was same spool (or better) than the 7168 but a little more power.. turned out to be about the same power, slower spool.

Right. I think your results will be fantastic with your choice. It should have incredible throttle response.
Did you ever think of getting a Sprint Power Booster? A lot of guys pass them up because of the price. I absolutely love mine. The difference is quite noticeable and worth every penny IMO. Simple install.
But if you dont like the Sport mode button, you will hate the Sprint. Its like the Sport Mode on steroids.

if he got rid of dbw he wouldn't need that silly stuff. remember when you push the green button the top third of your pedal is all the same. push the red one and at half pedal your at full throttle. linear is about as good as it gets which is all your doing by pushing the sport button...pulling it out of the concave map. i understand you have a leg injury so a convex throttle may be quite useful though to get the turbo spooling!

u don't need a new mani.... you need a new downpipe.
you prolly don't need to ditch the 71 if spool is your next concern but don't want to lose any pwer.... glad to see you start tackling the laaaaaaag.

You have a MAJOR bottleneck then on the car. I have made 1127 RWHP with the 7275!! If you are only getting in the mid 800s something is very WRONG! Either the head/cams on these cars do not flow as well as people think or those exhaust manifolds are ....well TERRIBLE!

rather than post again (jack) in M5chas's thread again, I am posting here in response to this:

OK. It sounds like you are not resting on your laurels and are pursing even lower 1/4 mile times (with out breaking). I agree. Your build has plenty more to offer. It sounds like you are getting the strength of any fragile components under control. Good moves.

Traction seems the next hurdle. What are your plans to increase traction? I dont think you will tub this build, so the next step might be 15 inch full on racing slicks like HPF has on their drag car? They are the largest that will fit a non modified E46 body, I think.

So, what IS next? We are all interested. Are you shooting for a target ET? Congrats again on your car being so DEEP into the 10's. This has been a break through year for low ET's for the E46.

I think I like the 7275.

SP, can you over lay a Dyno sheet between the 76 and the new 72?

Please and Thank you.

:Edit: Sorry Marcus. Not thread jacking just curious.
