This. The money is fine, particularly for a young guy, but to me it wouldn't leave any time for much else. I have a family, so my personal time is of far greater importance than working 7x12 shifts to make some extra money.

not enough, it never is, no matter what the number is. by all accounts I make a good living, but damn it sure feels like I'm a hamster on a spinning wheel just like the next guy...

+1...you can always find people who make more money and it sometimes makes you think what the heck am I doing wrong. I really just try to take a step back and realize how fortunate I am.

Working at GE Aviation now, no more traveling! Making good money 29.74 hour, doing computed tomography on high pressure airfoils. Beats the hell out of pipeline X-ray

4500-7000/month before taxes. i work in sales with base salary plus commissions. 12% 401k, i was making 34k.yr before this job so since i am so used to living on such little wages that with this much bigger income i save a lot.
