Question Magna Flow #16533

Hey guys,

I know there are numerous threads on this system (and I've read most of them) but I was hoping you could give me, and anyone else with a 325Ci, a couple of clean and simple answers

1. Many of these threads talk about the #16748 (I think thats right) as only 2/3 of the #16533. Is that true? Magnaflow suggests this exhaust for the 325Ci but why?

2. Will the #16533 fight on a 325Ci? Magnaflow's website says 330Ci only. but If the two systems are identical then why buy the ladder option?

3. Been looking at this exhaust for a while now and I figure its time to pull the trigger! Will I regret it?

I hope you guys can help. I was looking at the TSE3 , but I just can't afford it and for the same price as the light version I could have the #16533 so it feels like this is the best deal for a killer exhaust! Thanks in advance guys!

I think both will fit either a 325 or a 330.

16748 I actually have one left in the US that I can pick up for you at a good cost, the 16533 which is the 330 system is actually not in stock anywhere and could take 4-5 weeks for Magnaflow to manufacture, so you might as well order the one correct for your car. I've got a good price on this if you were looking for a new system, so feel free to give me a call at 714.582.3330 extension 8002, and ask for Jurrian when you call in, or just send me a PM

When I was helping Magnaflow market this, I kept telling them that the 325 and the 330 had the same exhaust. They wouldn't listen.

Very high quality exhaust, and went together quite well. Search for my install notes thread for a few tips.

You will love your Magnaflow as much I do mine - from header/cats to single 3" system. The lowest price on the market.

I just spray some WD-40 and wait a bit...never had a huge issue getting it apart. The only problem is the clearance between the cross brace on the back of the front section.

After only 8 months and no winter driving my Magnaflow 16478 has already rusted significantly on section 3.

Not if you buy from unauthorized retailers, aka most of Ebay.

Its mostly surface rust anyways. May just end up welding the OEM exhaust back in and changing the rear muffler down the road.
