Khoalty floor mats

Anyone pick these up? Since they've become available I haven't heard much about them from anyone. Seem like a great deal tho I want to know a buyers impression of the lines they have.

If anyone is lost right now, I'm talking about these

No. They're actual lines in all the floormats. Im not too fond of the pattern but want to see how they flowed with other peoples cars.... Esp with black interior.

Hmm... Weird. If they had beige I might've bought a set.

i wanted to place an order for them but then i found out they didn't have the velcro patches on the bottom. but i think they do have plastic teeth to grab onto the floor. interested in what the reviews say.

Check Craig's List. I've found new OEM mats in the wrappers for less than that price. OEM mats are by far the choice of most fanatics. If you are a BMWCCA member, you can probably get a 15 to 20% discount on parts from your dealer.

Yes def considering the all weathers. Also just came across these as well!

....tempting though they seem to be flimsy and won't hold up as well. Anyone care to chime in?

I got a full set of the weathertech molded ones for my car and love them!

They arent as sleek or sexy as some others, but they offer the very best in protection! (I wore workboots all the time when I first got my car).

How much did those end up costing you?

Get the top of the line ones from BavAuto. They are 3x as thick as those crappy ones BMW rapes you for, and they have a lifetime warranty. Done.

I have a set in black, that I will sell. If you are interested, PM me. They are brand new. For some reason, the PO, thought they would be a good selling point. I took them out the first day.

No one mentions the floor retainer system built into the BMW mats. The end of the carpet screws into the floor which keeps them perfectly positioned.
Others mention velcro like adhesion, and I bought the ultra thick BavAuto version. OK carpet to start with but they fuzz up very quickly to look inferior to oem. And it seems like EVERY time I get into my car I have to pull the carpet down off the pedals because the carpet shifts position in the normal course of driving.
Next I'm going back to BMW, using my discount to get the ones just like came with the car. Shoulda done that in the first place.

I am replacing my OEM BMW mats for the exact same reasons. After 1.5 years of very light use, less than 8k miles, the carpet has completely worn off of the "reinforced" area under the pedals, and the OEM anchoring pad stays perfectly in place, which would be great if it had not torn loose from the underside of the mat six months ago. So, I am constantly pulling my OEM mats back off of the pedals. The passenger side mat has developed a permenent fold in the middle, and refuses to lay flat, and it has only been used about half as much as the drivers side. I made the wrong assumption that the OEM mats would be better. At least with the BavAuto mats, I get a lifetime warranty. If yours are not wearing well, why not send them back, and get them replaced, rather than spending more money on mats that will be worse? In reality, all mats are going to wear out eventually. I would prefer to have the option of returning them for a new set, for free. What more can you ask for?
