it needs to be positioned as close to the headers as possible. Yes, I sent Burns a set of headers. They actually wanted to build the merge into them. Not really easy for me to do. He said it'd be pretty darn close.

I'll email him on Monday and see if we can add one. Have Paypal ready.

Brady, any chance of adding another? BUT, only if you have the crucial info... where to position this? Did Burns do that analysis?

Also, is it really 2" to 3", or is it 2.25"? Stock is dual 2.25", not sure about the teknik headers you have... ?
OD on the stock exhaust is 2.05. It'll go from that to 3.

Ahh, well that may be something I can manage more easily with the custom downpipes I'll be running... thanks for checking into it, PayPal at the ready!

I think I was misinformed. This isn't going to work for my header setup. Can murph just take my merger? I need a larger one. Mine is at least a 2.5, it dwarfs the stock exhaust. I was under the assumption it would work with what I have. It's obvious it won't 2.05? really? to a 3inch? I clearly made a mistake. What was the price to send your headers to burns and have them make the merge?

If you want murph to have yours, you guys work it out and let me know where to ship them. Burns will check them out for free. They wanted almost $500 to add a little curve and flanges to this Y pipe...

The price is dang good for Burns, they are not a low ball company.

I need something like this for my E36/S54 powered race car build but with a 3.5" outlet.

Any help I can get finding one please let me know.

(I will be getting my wife a 330ci vert and she likes mods as much as I do so it will have some fun parts, maybe one of these eventually

Wow.... The welding is amazing. Super smooth on the inside. Very happy with the quality. Now the race to see who can get this thing on the fastest!

Very nice!

Most high-end custom exhaust builders use Burns Stainless for merges, transitions, and custom mufflers. Their quality is hard to replicate.

I used Burns Stainless for most of my supplies on the custom 3" exhaust on my 330i street car. If I ever decide to make changes to it, I will be using them again.
