Issue with cluster

Hi guys, a few days ago I adjusted the time on my cluster by using the pins/dials on the cluster.
Since that time, I'm getting a strange occurrence with it.

When I switch my car off all the dials, revs/petrol/temp do not drop down, they stay stuck to what they were just as I turn my ignition off.

Starting my car, the cluster then makes a winding noise (like winding a clock in reverse quite fast), the cluster then resets to normal and my display time and other settings in the LCD panel are also reset.

Any idea what could be causing this? Ive checked the 2 pins that are on the cluster and they are definitely not depressed or stuck on a direction that activates/changes something when you use them.

Open it up and check the two rubber prong things behind the face for the two pins/dials.

Re: Issue with cluster

Got a feeling its a fuse, dials stick to their location once power is off and reset once power kicks in, gonna check it after work

Issue with cluster

Check fuse, and remove the cluster (2 torx screws) and ensure that plugs are in correctly and securely.

Thanks for the responses guys.
I ended up checking the fuses and one of them wasn't sitting in place right, popped it back in and the issue seems resolved.
Makes me wonder how it got abit loose to begin with
